Saint Johns County Schools offer students a powerful way to explore future careers through their Career Academies. These programs give high school students real-world learning opportunities across a variety of industries, helping them build skills, gain confidence, and discover career paths that may shape their future.
Locally, Beachside High School is home to the first Academy of Veterinary Medicine in the United States. Pets R Family Veterinary Hospital is proud to support this important program as an ambassador, board member, and active partner in helping students learn more about careers in veterinary medicine.
Through this partnership, our team helps encourage students who are interested in animal care, veterinary science, and the many career opportunities within the veterinary field. We are honored to be part of a program that connects classroom learning with practical industry insight.
Pets R Family Veterinary Hospital also provides an annual scholarship to a graduating senior from the Beachside/Lakeside High School veterinary program. This scholarship reflects our commitment to supporting motivated students as they take their next steps toward higher education, veterinary training, and future careers in animal health.
