Thanks for Choosing Pets R Family Veterinary Hospital

Our veterinary team is excited to welcome you and your pet to our family! We look forward to providing both of you with first-class service for years to come.

Preparing for Your Visit

Prior to your pet’s first visit, we ask that you complete the new client form online or print a copy and bring it in to your appointment. Also bring any medical records you may have from your pet’s previous veterinarian. If you don’t have these records on hand, don’t worry. We can call your former clinic or hospital to obtain this information on your behalf.

Once You Arrive

From the moment you arrive at our hospital, you’ll notice the difference between our practice and others. Our spacious property and facility allow us to offer high-quality care in a comfortable and serene environment.

Upon entering our hospital, you’ll be warmly greeted by one of our staff members who will review your new client paperwork and medical records (if available), answer any administrative questions or concerns you might have, and check your pet in for their appointment. Prior to you and your pet being escorted to their exam room, we invite you to help yourself to coffee or a drink, as well as a snack at our beverage station.

What to Expect During Your Visit

In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will begin by asking you about your pet’s medical history, current condition, and the reason for your visit. They’ll also gather any additional information needed for the doctor.

Your pet will then be examined by one of our veterinarians who will ask questions and recommend diagnostic testing based on your pet’s health condition. If further testing is required, you’ll be provided with an estimate prior to any testing so you know the cost in advance. Most of our diagnostic testing is performed in-house. Once completed, your veterinarian will discuss any findings or diagnosis with you, as well as a possible treatment plan, if necessary.

During this time, we invite you to share any questions or concerns you might have with your veterinarian. We’re here to care for your pet and to help educate and assist you as a pet owner. Our veterinary team wants to ensure you have the knowledge you need to provide your pet with the care we recommend.

Once your pet’s exam and necessary diagnostic testing is complete, your veterinary technician will return to wrap up the visit by providing you with pet care instructions or information from your veterinarian, process your payment, and schedule any necessary follow-up appointments.

Please note, while our goal is to see all our clients and patients as scheduled, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there are times when unexpected events and circumstances will create delays. We work to ensure these situations are minimized as much as possible. Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.
